Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you ask for a quote. If you can’t find yours, message us.

What information do you need to quote my network or WiFi?

Tell us what the place is like (home, office or community), how many people and devices connect, and what fails today or what you want to achieve. With that we plan the network, decide what equipment and cabling are needed and quote your project.

Why doesn’t my WiFi reach the whole house or business?

Distance, walls and where the router sits all play a part. To cover the space well, we plan where the access points, cabling and any repeaters should go, and we optimize the network. We look at your case to tell you what makes sense.

Can you improve the network I already have?

Yes. We review your current network, fix what is failing and reconfigure it if needed, whether it is copper, wireless or fiber optic. Depending on the case, adjusting what is already installed may be enough.

Do I need cabling, fiber optics or just WiFi?

It depends on the place and on what you connect. WiFi gives you freedom to move around; network cabling is the most stable base for fixed equipment, cameras and access points; and fiber optics help achieve very stable connections, especially over long distances. We define it when we review your project.

What happens if the internet or the power goes out?

If your provider’s service fails, there will be no internet, although the internal network can keep working for the equipment on site. To depend less on a single connection, the network can be planned with load balancing and more than one link. Without electricity, the equipment needs backup power to keep running. We go over this when we quote.
